Tales of Creativity and Play

Learning is a byproduct of play as Tim Brown has said. We need playfulness in our lives as it helps us in a pragmatic way. But as we play there are rules to follow (decided by both sides) and we need to know when to be divergent (playful) and convergent (serious). Designers live on this principles. And they open up their minds to new possibilities (explore), build things (thinking with hands) and play it out (role-play) just like when we were kids, which leads us to creativity.
